I worked as a Mental Health Nurse for 10 years before starting my Coaching career. I have always loved physical activity. I played competitive county football for Dublin at 17 before needing surgery for an injury when I began training as a nurse. Due to long hours working and studying, I couldn't play football anymore. I discovered strength and conditioning which lead me to CrossFit and I became obsessed. I did the coaching internship in Rónin CrossFit and left nursing. As a coach, I am passionate about helping our members pursue mental and physical wellbeing.
I never considered changing career - I didn't think I was 'good enough' to be a coach. The community at Rónin CrossFit supported me through the transition. I haven't looked back since.
I want to instill the confidence in others that the community in Rónin CrossFit instilled in me. Coming to a new gym can be really scary; at Rónin, it doesn't have to be!
