I developed my love for fitness while living in Australia. Fitness and sport are so accessible to everyone there. I tried many sports while I lived there including distance running, I completed marathons and triathlons, and I joined tag rugby and an AFL team. I trained in a gym that focused on strength training and really saw the benefits of how this complimented all of my other sporting endeavors.
I have been a nurse for over 12 years and during the covid pandemic, I really reflected on how I wanted to become part of the prevention rather than the cure so I decided to pursue becoming a PT.
I am passionate about women's health and in particular guiding women in their training during pregnancy and their return to exercise postpartum. Having navigated this journey through my 2 pregnancies and after having my 2 babies, I know the value of having a safe environment to train in, under the guidance of an expert. I also know the importance of having a community of Mams around you, who support each other during the challenges of motherhood.
